Employees of the Fund
The ‘Humanitarian Action’ team is made up of highly qualified specialists, including doctors, psychologists, social workers and teachers. In all, there are 38 full-time employees and 12 collaborating specialists, more than half of whom are graduates. Our specialists have many years of experience and take a multi-disciplinary approach to our work. This approach is based on bringing together specialists from diverse fields (medical and social workers, lawyers, psychologists and teachers) so that they can better meet the needs of the target groups. Employees of the charity are recognized experts in working with vulnerable groups and lead training programmes for specialists in NGOs and for government employees as part of the ‘Learning Center.’ Some of the organization’s experts also work for some of the world’s leading organizations, such as the ‘Open Health Institute,’ the ‘Russian Harm Reduction Network,’ the ‘Harm Reduction Network of Central and Eastern Europe’ and others.
Organizational Structure of the Fund
The General assembly, which meets no less than once a year, is the highest decision-making body of the organization. It is in charge of establishing the organization’s agenda and priorities, appointing the members of the governing board, appointing the general director, approving the reports, etc. The governing board, which meets regularly, is in charge of managing the charity and consists of ten members. It is led by the chairman of the board.
